The ComTu 160 is a cantilever type that is loaded and unloaded on one side. Basic frame design is made of robust steel construction. The electrical control box is also integrated into the frame.

The ComTu 160 unwinder is equipped with an accurate electronic traversing system for excellent winding quality, where the reel is stationary and traverse guide moves, precise turning point and traverse pitch controls are included and stored in recipes and guiding pulleys are precisely adjustable. Different traversing profiles can be adjusted for high traversing quality:
