The product family includes conventional on-line tape extension methods, as well as our new patent pending solution with off-line tape extension concept, in which the tape is extended to pre-set length according to the production cable length.

On-line Method
Tapes are extended in a cable production process (typically in the sheathing/jacketing process) either by welding (metal tapes) or by scotch tape.
 

MaxiPad concept (Off-line Method)
In this innovative method the tapes are extended to pre-set length in the MaxiPad line beforehand in order to maximise the productivity by scrap minimizing, by quality securing, and by capacity increasing.
