Robust design, yet delicate tape handling with excellent tension control made by AC-motor and AC-converter. Combined with a dancer and/or a tape brake, the tape tension can be maintained accurately stable from full to empty pad. Adjustable tape-end sensor allow semi-automatic tape change sequence with on-line welding systems. Simple pad locking and centering of the tape combined with pad jogging by motor help the operator to make fast pad-changes. The machine is practically maintenace free and extremely quiet due to AC-motor and special transmission belt.

The CTA 1370 can be used as part of the MaxiPad tape extension system due to its double tape capacity compared to CTA 940.
