ComTemp is especially designed for temperature control of plastic extrusion lines. It is compact plug-in complete system for modernization of existing extruders, as well as easily integrated component for new lines. ComTemp system consists of single electrical cabinet included with supply fuses, intelligent multi-channel temperature controller, solid-state relays for heating resistors and relays for cooling blowers or cooling water valves.

Operator interface has high visible touch screen with temperature profile, recipe and alarm functions and allows full local control and easy start-up without integration to existing systems. Intelligent auto-tune function adapts control parameters easily to different applications.

System can accommodate up to 32 heating/cooling zones, so it is suitable from simple single extruder to complex multi-extruder systems, and it can also control material cooling systems, water tanks, blowers etc. Number and type of zones can be determined upon ordering, so system is costeffective with maximum versatility.

ComTemp can be connected to line control systems with industrial networks, Ethernet, Profibus or Interbus. Standard interface layer guarantees easy integration to any existing PLC system. Built-in touch screen allows direct control without line control connection.
